Galatea, our beautiful filly by Graf Top II, out of our premiere TB mare My Pretty Echo, was both champion filly and high point foal yesterday at the ISR/Oldenburg NA inspection held annually at Last Laugh Farm. She was awarded an overall score of 8.5 by this years judge, Dr. Eberhard Senckenberg, who is also the director of the Bavarian Warmblood Registry in Germany. Five foals were awarded premium status at the inspection, including three colts and two fillies. Graf Top II is owned by Edgar Schutte and stands at Rainbow Equus Meadows Farm in California.

We Welcomed Alejandra, a filly by Albarez in May 14, 2015. This stunning chestnut filly with four white stockings and a beautiful blaze is out of our proven mare, Million Dollar Diva. Alejandra is beautifully bred, confident, very friendly and super athletic with unbelievable gaits. She is a perfect sporthorse prospect and for sale to an approved show home.

Our second foal of the year arrived April 15th . "Alysea" is out of our Hanoverian mare, Good Question, and sired by Andiamo, the last stallion son of the legendary Hanoverian stallion, Absatz. Since Absaz was also in the dam line of Good Question, Alysea is significantly line-bred to this legendary Hanoverian sire. Andiamo himself was a top international producer of both jumpers and dressage horses.
LLF's first foal of 2013, a filly by Color Guard, arrived on Sunday April 7th. "CATALAYA" is big, strong, very correct, long legged, big boned, has huge joints and is clearly a winner in the making! She is out of our thoroughbred mare, Ballyecho, who has produced three premium foals in the past. We are certain the filly will be no exception!

We are delighted to announce that two of our most exciting sporthorse prospects -- Corsair by Coronado WW and Hopeworthy Lee by Noteworthy -- have been sold to Beech Creek Farms of Summerfield, North Carolina.
Both of these colts are out of our ISR/OldenburgNA Premium thoroughbred foundation mare, My Pretty Echo, and each received exceptionally high scores and was a site champion at their respective ISR/Oldenburg foal inspections. Beech Creek Farm’s head trainer, Jean DeVenny, who arranged this purchase, has more than 30 years of experience in dressage and has successfully competed at the FEI level, winning multiple regional and national championships. Both horses will be headed towards the Markel/USEF Young Horse Dressage Program to prepare them horses for future careers in the dressage ring. We are looking forward to watching these two youngsters develop! |
