Monocacy Bend

Monocacy Bend is a lovely unraced thoroughbred filly generously made available to Last Laugh Farm by Jerry and Linda Brubaker in Maryland.  In addition to her classic appearance, graceful and balanced way of going and pet-like personality, Monocacy's pedigree is significantly influenced by the great French sire Caro.  Caro, an impressive grey who raced in the 1960s, is valued as a producer of jumpers, event horses and steeplechasers.  Indeed , he's probably the only TB sire known to have produced both a Triple Crown race winner and an Olympic Games show jumper.  Needless to say, when the time is appropriate, Monocacy will become an exciting new member of our broodmare team.
