Good Question is a 16.0-hand chestnut mare with extravagant white markings and animated movement who competed for many years as a mid-level dressage horse. Her bloodlines are primarily Hanoverian. Her sire, Grusus, was a son of the famous Grundstein and produced many top level dressage horses and showjumpers during his years in the United States. Good Question’s damsire was the highly regarded US Hanoverian stallion Abundance, who has produced many top-flight competitors in jumping, eventing and field hunting – including the classic hunter champion Ruxton. Abundance grandson, Avebbury, is a current producer of competitive three-day eventers. Good Question is LLF’s only non-thoroughbred mare and we intend to breed her to emphasize her Abglanz/Absatz bloodlines.
